ED RATH

 Ed Rath was born and raised in Minneapolis, Minnesota.  After completing his art education at the Minneapolis College of Art & Design and the Yale University School of Art, he moved to New York City in 1977.  He lives and paints in Brooklyn, New York.

 

Since 1980 he has participated in over seventy-five group shows, and produced thirty solo shows.  He has shown his work in Austria, Japan, South Korea, New York, and throughout the USA, and has published four books about his art work.  His work on Dream Imagery and Animated Trees, produced by filmmaker Mark Khaimov, can be seen on YouTube.
